Community Arts Instructor @ Munson Community Arts

Job Description
Munson is continuously seeking applications for the instructor pool of potential part-time and one-time instructors to teach daytime and evening Studio Art classes and workshops. Specifically, artists who qualify to teach in the School of Art non-credit community arts program for kids, teens, and adults.
 

Ongoing areas of specialization that will be considered include Drawing, Painting, Jewelry, Ceramics, Fashion, Sculpture, Fine Craft, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Animation, Illustration, Art Appreciation, Portfolio Development and more. Artists that focus on teaching specific age groups are also welcome.
 

All applications will be reviewed and retained for potential opportunities. This position is a “pool” position meaning that openings may or may not be currently available. Munson Community Arts maintains a “pool” of applications for workshops or instructor positions which are needed on an ongoing basis. When a position becomes available, the director may immediately begin screening "pool" applications submitted here. Your instructor application will be kept current for a period of three years.

Teaching rate: $25.00 per teaching hour
 

Preferred One or More Qualifications:

  • Professional practicing artist or designer
  • Arts Education Degree (K-12)
  • Bachelors of Fine Arts
  • Masters of Fine Arts or equivalent experience
